ROAD ROMEO MUSIC LAUNCH BY PUBLIC - NEW TYPE MUSIC CDs LAUNCHED

Sunday morning on 30th April 2006, in the heart of Bangalore city, the very busiest spot on Kempe Gowda Road, Mysore Bank Signal was all set to welcome public for the beginning of a new event by Rare Brains Films. By afternoon, a Double Decker bus loaded with well dressed boys and girls was attracting the public and greeting the people. The bus was decorated not less than a new bride and surrounded by dance troops who were entertaining the city public gathered in a large number.  Under the tight security provided by the Bangalore traffic police, the Romantic Hero Dilip Pai gives a grand entry along with the beautiful Ashitha on a bike between the public to reach the top of the Double Decker bus where the stage was set for the grand occasion!! The Romeo and his Juliet reaches the stage with the help of a crane!! Can anyone guess what would have been the occasion? Yes, it was a rare idea of the Rare Brains Films to launch the Audio of “Road Romeo” – Kannada film for the public and by the public!!

This was an un-forgetful event for Kannadigas to witness, watch, relish and release the Road Romeo audio by themselves. There were many celebrities and guests like, H D Gangaraju, Sa Ra Govind, Narendra Babu, DCP M Prakash, Sai Prakash(Road Romeo: Director), K M Indra(Road Romeo: Music Director), Madan-Harini (Road Romeo: Choreographer) and many more on the stage to inaugurate the function and also launch Rare Brains Music Company. Five balls from the stage were dropped at the public gathered to see the event and the one who catches the ball would be the luckiest to come on stage and search the audio cassettes hidden in Hero’s jacket! Likewise, five from the public got a chance to come on stage and find the cassettes from hero’s jacket and thus released the audio cassettes of “Road Romeo” and set a never the before History in film industry. Later the music CDs, which were in two flavors; CDs in eject case and vinyl look mini CDs were released by the celebrities and guests. Thus Rare Brains Music has introduced the two new products to Indian cinema particularly to Kannada film industry and made the country and state very proud.

The advantage of the eject CD case is its easy way of opening the CD with the press of single button unlike other CD cases. While the mini CD is easy to carry and the vinyl look gives the feel of olden days gramophone plates.

On the occasion there were many free cassettes distributed to the public and the stalls at the different locations nearing the spot started selling Road Romeo music in a large quantity. The response for the music was overwhelming and amazing. There was lucky draw for those who bought cassettes or CDs of Road Romeo on the same day and including bumper prize three other prizes were given out.

The one another unique and creative idea from Rare Brains was arranging the press and media meet in a special air conditioned Volvo bus which looked not less than an auditorium. Media was present in large number to catch the glimpses of this unique event and all were excited to participate in such an event.

The cassettes and CDs are available with all authorized dealers. The movie Road Romeo is produced by Rare Brains Films and international music launch will be held in August 2006. Road Romeo will be the first Kannada movie music to go worldwide.
